The Role

Assist on projects that the Research Assistants (RAs) and Doctorate Candidates are working on such as: (1) Content analysis on personal statements and program websites for psychological doctoral programs or (2) Content analysis on social medias presentation of depression

Time commitment varies throughout the semester with a maximum of 5 hours of lab work a week and 2-3 organizational meetings every semester
Minimum Qualifications​

Interest in getting research experience

At least freshman status

At least a 3.0 GPA or higher

A commitment of at least one semester to the research team (Fall or Spring Semester)

The Role ​​

Involvement in all steps of the research process, from brainstorming ideas for a study to finalizing a manuscript

Time commitment of 10 hours per week (Includes a 2 hour lab meeting every Wednesday from 2:45-4:45)
Minimum Qualifications

3.2 or above GPA

Interest in pursuing graduate education (MA or Ph.D/PsyD)

At least sophomore status

Must commit to 2 hours for lab meetings and 8 hours outside of meetings

A commitment of one year to the research team (Fall and Spring Semesters)
Preferred Qualifications
-
3.3 and above overall GPA (3.5 in major)
-
Interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology or MA program with Thesis Requirement

Completed at least the Research Methods and Stats I courses in major
-
The ability to commit 8+ hours outside of lab meetings
-
A commitment of 2 years to the research team

RAs must be available for weekly in-person lab meetings on:
Wednesdays from 2:45pm to 4:45pm during the semester
