DANIELLE SCHWEITZER (SHE/HER)
Fifth-Year Doctoral Student on Internship

Danielle is a fifth-year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. doctoral student at Rowan University. She has her BA in Psychology from Rowan University. Her research interests include the development, effectiveness, and dissemination of technology-based interventions for depression and anxiety. Currently, she is interested in further understanding engagement patterns associated with widely-used apps and factors that contribute to discontinued usage. Within her research, she would like to investigate the relationship between symptoms and app usage. Additionally, she hopes to examine how users navigate app marketplaces while choosing mental health apps. 

FREDERICK NITCHIE (HE/HIM)

Freddy is a second-year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at Rowan University. He graduated from Arcadia University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2016 and went on to earn his M.S. in Experimental Psychology from Villanova University in 2019. His research interests include the etiology of anxiety and depression, their comorbid relationship, and how such research could inform prevention efforts in at-risk populations. Outside of the lab, Freddy enjoys playing tabletop games with friends, reading, hiking, and playing with his dog Teak. 

NINELLE EDENNE (SHE/HER)

Ninelle is a first-year Clinical Psychology Ph.D student at Rowan University. She graduated in May of 2024 with a B.A. in Psychology and a Certificate of Undergraduate Study in Publishing and Writing for the Public from Rowan. She is deeply interested in understanding how individuals without access to standard care choose to change and the steps they take to achieve it, particularly through digital interventions. Ninelle hopes to use her research to collaborate with the community to develop more effective and accessible strategies for personal growth and transformation. She is primarily interested in underserved populations facing anxiety and depression. In her free time she enjoys to crochet, go to the gym, read, paint, and hang out with her cat Bones.
EMILY GYONGYOSI (SHE/HER)

Emily is a first-year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at Rowan University. She graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2022 and went on to earn her M.A. in Research and Evaluation Methods from the University of Colorado Denver in 2025. Her research interests include the etiology of depression and anxiety, the efficacy of digital health interventions, and the use of self-help and mindfulness-based interventions. In her free time, Emily enjoys hiking, reading, and taking her dog Bella for walks on the beach.

BAILEY ROBSON (SHE/HER)

Bailey is currently a second-year graduate student at Rowan University in their M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She received a Cognitive Science B.S. with a minor in Psychology from Villanova University in 2024. Her research interests include the role mindfulness has in the treatment of depression and anxiety, and in relationships with others. Her future career goal is to get her doctorate and continue research, hopefully opening up her own practice down the road that will focus on love and relationship counseling. In her free time, Bailey loves to spend time with her family and her two bunnies, as well as doing crafts!

ELIZABETH PAGAN (SHE/HER)
Post-Baccalaureate 
Elizabeth graduated from Rowan University in December of 2024 with a B.A. in Psychology. She is interested in how current technologies can be integrated into the psychological field, and how said technologies are actively affecting individuals facing mental illness. One day, Elizabeth hopes to receive a graduate degree in clinical psychology. In her free time Elizabeth enjoys various hobbies such as reading, the gym, snowboarding, and crocheting.

NIYASIA JENKINS (SHE/HER)

Niyasia Jenkins is a senior majoring in Psychology at Rowan University. She wants to go to graduate to be a clinical psychologist. Her career goal is to be a professional who can support children who experience mental health challenges. Aside from school, Niyasia works as a success coach, Rowan IRT learning technologies assistant, and a Direct Support Professional. In her free time, she volunteers for SERV, works out, and spends time with friends and family.

CONNOR HANNON (HE/HIM)

Connor is a junior majoring in psychology at Rowan University.  His research interests include anxiety, depression, as well as the impact technology can have on mental health.  After graduating, he plans to become a Licensed Professional Counselor to aid people in need through therapy.  In his free time, Connor loves spending time with friends, playing basketball, and listening to music.  

ERIKA VENEZIANI (SHE/HER)

Erika graduated from Rowan University in May 2025, with her B.A. in Psychology, a minor in Neuroscience, and a Certificate of Undergraduate Study in American Sign Language. Her research interests center on anxiety and depression stemming from trauma, and the intersection of psychology and law enforcement, particularly how trauma-informed practices can improve crisis negotiation and field response. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, specializing in trauma-informed crisis response and working alongside federal agencies such as the FBI Crisis Negotiation Unit. Outside of research, Erika volunteers for a crisis hotline and enjoys traveling.

Ariana is a Senior at Rowan University majoring in psychology with a minor in sports and exercise psychology. Her research interests include the effects of social media on mental health and the prevention and treatment interventions of mental illness in children and young adults, specifically anxiety and depression. Her career goal is to go to get her master's degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology and become a counselor for children and teens. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, hanging out with friends, reading, and coaching gymnastics on the weekends.

KEVIN ROGERS (HE/HIM)

Kevin is a Senior at Rowan University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Philosophy. He is the current President of Psi Chi’s Rowan chapter (International Honor Society in Psychology). His research interests include Anxiety and Existential Depression. His career goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor so that he may apply all that he has learned to clients in need of support. In his free time he likes writing music, spending time with friends, reading, and watching films.

KAT GEE (THEY/THEM)
Junior
Kat is a junior Psychology student at Rowan University and a member of the John H. Martinson Honors College. Research topics they’re interested in pursuing include treatment and discussion on mental illness inside queer, disabled, and racially-diverse communities. They plan to work towards a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Recreationally, they spend their time singing, playing video games, and acting. 

LENORA DEFULIO (SHE/HER)

Lenora is a Junior majoring in psychological science at Rowan University. Her career goal is to get her master's of Science in Psychology degree and work in a laboratory setting. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, and dance, performing regularly with her campus club and a local professional company.
